Dominik Zahrnt founded (r)evolutionary ideas in September 2015, fulfilling his long-held desire to run a holistic strategy consultancy. He works closely with experts in design, programming, and policy making to ensure the creativity and impact of his strategies.

Dominik Zahrnt – Founder

Dr. Dominik Zahrnt studied Economics at the HEC Lausanne (Diploma), including one year abroad at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. Afterwards he completed a Master’s degree in political philosophy at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland followed by his doctorate with a thesis on the connection between theories of global justice and motivation in 2010 at the same university. Dominik Zahrnt experienced the power of participation and communication during his time at IFOK, a consultancy for strategy and communication in Berlin (2010-2014). In 2015 he founded the strategy and communication consultancy (r)evolutionary ideas. He works for the public sector (BMBF, BMUB, BMWI), foundations (Mercator European Dialogue, Studienstiftung) and civil society organizations (Brot-für-die-Welt, Germanwatch, World Future Council). Dominik is proficient in German, English, French, and Spanish.

Caspar Kolster – Associate

Caspar Kolster is a political scientist. He studied European Studies and Political Science at the Universities of Maastricht, Istanbul (Sabancı), Barcelona (Pompeu Fabra) and Constance with a focus on empirical studies of human behavior in political processes and institutions. Following his interest in process analysis, digitalization and policy design, he began working in the fields of surveying, citizen participation, federal-level politics and eventually worked for the Mercator European Dialogue. Since 2016 he also works on a freelance basis for (r)evolutionary ideas. At (r)evolutionary ideas he investigates and develops communication products, strategy processes and policies, drawing on his day-to-day experiences from his work with policy makers. Caspar is proficient in German, English, and Spanish.
